Jamie (00:01.461)
Hi guys, welcome back. Okay, so it's spring and one thing I love about spring is that you can put away the sweaters for a while. And I feel like I have like a new lease on life because everything's warm for warm. You know, sometimes it's still cold in spring, but the sun is out and it just feels more alive for some reason. And for me that's
Dayle Sheehan (00:20.078)
Mm-hmm.
Jamie (00:28.571)
Spring is always like a refresh, a fresh start. Like, you know, I want to, I want a whole new wardrobe. I want all the decor in my house, like all the warm fuzzy things to hit the bricks. And I am looking for a revamp of everything. So today I decided we're going to talk about all the things that I love right now. And you love. Yeah. All the things that we're really loving when it comes to spring.
Dayle Sheehan (00:28.587)
always.
Dayle Sheehan (00:32.899)
Mm-hmm.
yeah.
Dayle Sheehan (00:42.914)
Thank you.
Dayle Sheehan (00:49.89)
Well, and I love, I mean, I'm here too.
Jamie (00:56.777)
or it doesn't even really have to be spring related, but you know, things that we're really digging right now. Do want me to go first? Okay, I've already put this on my social media. Well, I didn't, did, but it's the Aritzia belt. So if you're just listening and not watching, go look at the YouTube, because I actually have the, like, I'm holding up the belt as we speak, but this is the double gold. So like this part is gold as well. This is the double gold.
Dayle Sheehan (01:12.92)
Cute.
Jamie (01:24.715)
It is the cutest belt on the entire planet and it comes in a bunch of different colors, a couple different colors of brown, a couple different thicknesses. I like this like medium thickness one and I like this medium brown. It also comes in more of like an orangey camel color, brown, tan color and then a bunch of different black leather suede, you know, all the things. But I just feel like when you put a belt on
and you're starting to dress in like less layers and stuff and you can actually see belts and things like that. It's so, it's just like the finishing touch on an outfit. It makes you look and feel so put together. So.
Dayle Sheehan (01:55.436)
Yeah.
Dayle Sheehan (02:02.19)
Yes, and polished it like finishes up your outfit it's like jewelry I agree Okay, that's cute. I like it. What's the price point on that?
Jamie (02:07.12)
Yeah.
Jamie (02:14.78)
It's $100.
Dayle Sheehan (02:16.422)
so like, you know, not... Yeah, exactly. Not crazy expensive. It's not like a Gucci or, you know, Hermes or something. Okay, that's good. I like that. I'm like putting away, you wouldn't know by my outfit today, but I'm putting away my like mob wives for everything season. Well, for spring.
Jamie (02:18.484)
Real leather, real suede. I feel like it's good value. It's really good value. Yeah.
Yeah.
Jamie (02:37.19)
my next item is Gary Mob Wives, but carry on.
Dayle Sheehan (02:43.608)
Well, I was just gonna say, except for, except for, and I've been like influenced by watching Beverly Hills Housewives. Rachel Zoe always wears fur vests over like summer shirts, like a tank top, and then she'll wear it with like jeans or a dress or something. And I'm like, you know what? I'm always cold, even if it's kind of nice out. So I'm gonna do that. I love it. I think it's like such a cute...
Like way to have a coat that's sort of useless but adorable. Cause I love my furs in the winter. So.
Jamie (03:17.098)
Yeah, was gonna say vests are not my thing because I feel like they're just not a real coat. Like they're not keeping my arms warm, but if you're a vest person, yeah, go for it.
Dayle Sheehan (03:26.348)
Yeah, I'm honestly not a coat person at all. So the less of a coat it is, the more I'm drawn to it. And a fur vest is like my go to for since I'm an adult, you know?
Jamie (03:40.926)
Okay, well here's item number two for me.
Dayle Sheehan (03:44.364)
You brought examples for everything. I love it.
Jamie (03:47.476)
So this is my new fur. It's faux, obviously.
Dayle Sheehan (03:50.318)
Okay. For those of you just listening, Jamie's showing her gorgeous, soft, brown fur from... To die for.
Jamie (03:58.06)
It's a crop, so it's not super long. Like it only goes to here. It is to die for. It's like my favorite piece right now. So like you can wear springy kind of clothes underneath. And I love the like contrast of wearing something so wintery with something so springy. Like I feel like it's so like, I don't know, runway-esque. But anywho, this bad boy is from Zara and it was on a deep, deep discount. Like I want to say 65 % off or something.
And I think it was only like $60. I know, it's wild.
Dayle Sheehan (04:26.407)
wow.
Dayle Sheehan (04:30.576)
my God. Okay, well, when I come to your house next, I'll just take it home. Because that's really my style more than yours.
Jamie (04:34.729)
No, it's so good. you should, the nice thing about Zara is they put all of their clearance items online as well. Like you don't have to actually go in store. They put a lot of their sales stuff online and I'm just really encouraging you all to go buy that jacket. It's brought me all the joy the last month. So.
Dayle Sheehan (04:42.52)
Yes.
Dayle Sheehan (04:54.274)
Very good. Keeping in the vein of clothing. The other thing I'm like back obsessed with I took like, I never take a full, because this is also just a long standing one of my favorites. I never take a full full break from this, but like I'm big into it this year is an off the shoulder shirt or dress. I like love.
Jamie (05:13.323)
You're bringing back the off the shoulder. That was your signature.
Dayle Sheehan (05:18.154)
Signature, I'm going back to it. deep diving. That and huge hoops. Like I'm wearing the little kind of, yeah, I tried because you know why I tried? Because Mila, your daughter, told me that those were out of style. And I listened for like a year or two. And I know she's right, but I don't care. I'm back to it. I don't care. They're my favorite. They're literally part of my identity.
Jamie (05:24.191)
Did you ever take a break from YouTube?
Dayle Sheehan (05:47.02)
And I just love a giant thin, thin, thin light hoop. So I'm doing that as well.
Jamie (05:51.808)
That's how I feel about like a chain necklace, like the one I've been going on. I've had this one on for like a year, no joke, but people are always like, you always have a gangster chain on. I'm like, yeah, and I will, I will be buried with the gangster chain. Like it's who it's, it's actually who I am. So don't even pretend like it's not cool because it is. Anyway.
Dayle Sheehan (05:54.935)
Yes.
Dayle Sheehan (06:04.27)
forever. Total.
Dayle Sheehan (06:10.73)
Exactly. The other jewelry item I'll bring up, because we're on jewelry right now, is the, our sister rings that we bought last, they're like just a little diamond eternity band. And I'm obsessed with that as well. And I like to wear it on my pointer and we both bought it and I, every time I wear it, like think of you, I love it. I, you know, I feel like it just like takes my, yeah, hand up.
Jamie (06:19.461)
yes, I don't have one, but...
Jamie (06:31.923)
I really love that ring and I feel very put together when I wear it, but I will say if you don't have your nails done, it's not a good look to have a pointer ring finger, a pointer finger ring on. You just look disheveled. I don't know why. I don't know the science behind it, but I'm just here to tell you, you almost have to have long nails or at very least beautifully painted nails in order to pull it off. So that's why I don't have mine on today. I'm just looking like a
Dayle Sheehan (06:40.45)
Yes.
Totally.
Dayle Sheehan (06:48.684)
Yeah.
Dayle Sheehan (06:54.093)
okay.
Dayle Sheehan (06:57.578)
Okay, good tip.
Jamie (07:01.695)
you a scrub. So yeah, yeah, it's just, you can't dress up a pig, you know, that's how I feel about my hands when they don't have polish. Okay. the next thing is things that like bring you joy. So this is a hand soap that I bought and you can't see it, but it has like a little gold bumblebee on it and it has flowers on it because I'm obsessed with flowers and this shouldn't bring me as much joy as
Dayle Sheehan (07:03.202)
Bald eagle. I'm making old friends.
Okay.
Dayle Sheehan (07:19.915)
Okay.
Jamie (07:29.671)
It really shouldn't. It's just a hand soap for your bathroom. But it incorporates all the things that I really love and it reminds me of spring. So like a floral, I just almost never walk by, you know, if something
Dayle Sheehan (07:41.496)
Well, and like something like a hand soap in your bathroom is so underrated. And there's honestly not a nicer compliment to me when someone comes to my house and they're like, your hand soap in your guest bathroom is beautiful. It smells so good because I like take time to care about those details. And so not everybody even notices them. And I'm like, do you know how beautiful that soap is? Like it's nice soap. And, or like mom and dad will come over and they're like, I hate to smell that soap. It's too fragrant.
Jamie (08:04.245)
I know.
Dayle Sheehan (08:11.33)
And I'm like, yeah, but it's such a nice fragrance. But it teach their own because not everybody likes the same stuff. But I love when somebody loves the same things I do. So I'm like, I know, isn't it good?
Jamie (08:22.987)
Same. Well, in every one of my children, the day that I bought it, they were like, my God, look at the fancy hand soap. And I was like, see, these are kids that know a good thing when they see it. Teaching them to appreciate the little things. So yeah.
Dayle Sheehan (08:34.08)
Exactly. Yeah, exactly.
Very good. Okay, switching gears completely. I have a couple of like add-ons to my sort of health routine that I'm loving. I started taking creatine again and I've never really done it like regularly enough to say, oh, this is great or it's not. But now I've been doing it for a while and I do think it's like great energizer. Like I do think it gives me like...
Jamie (08:49.291)
Okay.
Dayle Sheehan (09:05.762)
just like muscle energy that lasts me a little bit longer. so, and I've done tons of reading on it and it seems like something that like lots of people would benefit from. I do your own research obviously, but I, yeah, it's just helpful. I just think it like clears up brain fog and like helps you function better.
Jamie (09:26.643)
Interesting. I noticed that when I was at mom and dad's house, they had two things of creatine sitting on the counter like it had just been delivered to their door. So you're influencing them.
Dayle Sheehan (09:35.712)
Well, I sent it to them. I sent it to them because I'm like, want them to like stay healthy and active and you know, all things. So I was like, no, I need this on the in their bodies every day. So they they're doing it with
Jamie (09:41.812)
Yeah
Jamie (09:50.157)
I forgot to grab this one, but I started taking a...
this but it's some kind of a supplement it's all natural and I got it from a chiropractor in Calgary who I think is amazing if you're wondering looking for a new chiropractor and you live in Calgary I will send me a DM and I'll send you a link to her business but anyways she had it basically is like support for your nervous system so it's just like an all-natural supplement and it helps your nervous system kind of just like heal and
So far I'm like loving it. I've only been taking it for a couple of weeks, but I think it really, really helps. It helps me like sleep better and just, I don't know if you have like a pace, like fast paced life and you're constantly on the go. For me, it just helps kind of like regulate everything because I feel like I'm always, you know, like, we've got this and then this and then this and this. And it can be a little high stress at times. So I think it helps regulate. Yeah.
Dayle Sheehan (10:52.942)
Very good. Okay, this is another like trash TV. Not recommendation, but I noticed on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives a bunch of months ago that whenever they would make content, they would always like stick this thing to the window of wherever they were. So they got great light. And then it was like a suction magnet. I don't know what it was.
Jamie (11:06.923)
Okay.
Dayle Sheehan (11:18.958)
So I like Googled, what do they use? And a whole bunch of choices come up and like nobody knows exactly what brand any of them have. But I found a Canadian brand that's called Carmount, mount.ca. And I've had these things before and like I don't use it in the car at all. I use it more to like record an ad for meta ads or do a social media post or you know, chat with a friend while I'm like doing my makeup or something. And
you can put it on a mirror, you can put it on any flat surface. And it's literally effortless because I'm not super strong, so I need it to go and be on the wall and I don't have to do anything about it. It's suction and then you just twist the little thing and it does a harder suction so it stays really, really good. And then your phone has a magnet and then it has a magnet on the phone side and the magnet's so strong that you get your phone anywhere near it and it's like, and it just stays. You almost can't get your phone off.
Jamie (11:54.443)
They get suctioned.
Jamie (12:00.671)
Okay.
Jamie (12:11.093)
interesting. I've seen these where they're just like, suctions on either side and they're called like, octo... suctions or something. I don't know. But I've seen them, but they didn't seem like they would hold your phone up very good. So interesting that this one's denying it.
Dayle Sheehan (12:24.14)
Yeah, so this one holds your phone amazing. And then you always have really good light if you're like trying to make a story or you're trying to, or you just don't want that like wobbly view of trying to hold your phone all the time. It's just nice. And so I'm liking that for just like my social media content or, you know, having a zoom meeting when I don't have my computer or whatever, like just, just as like a tech product that I've, didn't think I would care as much about as I have. It's very good.
Jamie (12:30.026)
Yeah.
Jamie (12:36.052)
Mm-hmm.
Jamie (12:45.299)
Yeah, yeah.
Jamie (12:50.527)
of tech, just found one that has changed my whole world. I got an actual referral about a year ago and I tried it a couple of times and then I was like, now this is the worst. It's called Dext, D-E-X-T and it's for doing your expenses. So when it's an app that you download on your phone and your computer, you take a picture of each receipt. It reads it for you. So it'll say like, okay, you've purchased fuel at Petro Canada on
Dayle Sheehan (12:54.157)
Yeah, what?
Dayle Sheehan (13:04.717)
Okay.
Dayle Sheehan (13:10.446)
Okay.
Jamie (13:19.371)
January 5th, 2026, and you paid this much in tax and I've categorized this to motor vehicle expenses for you, blah, blah. You go in and you can approve it if it's gotten all your information correctly. And then when you have a collaborate or like a bunch of different receipts, or you can do multiple pictures all at the same time.
Once you have a bunch, then you can say, make an expense report for me. And then it automatically can do either a PDF with a summary of everything. And then it documents like what image it is. It saves all of the data. It saves all of the images of the receipts. It saves everything. And you can get a PDF or you can get it in a file format that is for QuickBooks Online. it's just like, you don't even understand.
Dayle Sheehan (14:07.554)
That's amazing.
Jamie (14:10.347)
taking pictures of your receipts and not actually having to type in all of that information into a spreadsheet has, I can't tell you. I can't tell you the world that has opened up for me. So if you're interested.
Dayle Sheehan (14:19.055)
my month end, yeah. My month end to just do that is an entire day usually, and it's a day I literally dread. Like I think about it and dread it about a week after I'm done the previous month. Like I'm like, God, it's only three weeks away that I have to do it again. And it's another horrible day of wasted time. I'm not getting any work done. I'm not even having fun.
Jamie (14:38.847)
Yeah.
Dayle Sheehan (14:44.224)
It's awful. And then it feels so good for when I'm like, it's the first week I just did it. It's off my plate. And, if I could just like take a picture of every receipt as I get them and then just do my month, month and check where I'm like, here's 10 more or 20 more or 50 more. And then it did the work work. my God. I'm starting it today. I'm as soon as we're done here. I cannot wait.
Jamie (15:05.629)
It's so good. It's so good. And for anyone who's like, yeah, well, I don't use QuickBooks online. Listen, neither do I. And it's a big regret that I have. anyways, that's the reality. So that's why I didn't like it at first, because I was like, well, I don't use QuickBooks. So this isn't useful to me. I want this in like an Excel spreadsheet format. Well, it prints it out into a PDF file, which I then can get AI to put into a Excel spreadsheet for me.
Dayle Sheehan (15:18.923)
Mm-hmm.
Dayle Sheehan (15:32.686)
right?
Jamie (15:33.087)
which I don't actually need because it summarizes everything for me. And I don't actually need to do that. But if you do, if you're like old school and you're like, no, I need to manipulate the data. Well, there is a solution for that too. It is life changing. I'm telling you. D-E-X-T.
Dayle Sheehan (15:45.742)
Yeah, this, the new technology to help as a productivity tool, I can't recommend enough. Like I honestly just cleaning up emails, making the spreadsheet, fixing something, finding an error in a spreadsheet that you can't figure out, whatever it is, like, oh my God, thank you. Thank you for fixing my problems. Okay, my, this one's not new to us, but I got like,
Jamie (15:54.303)
Go!
Jamie (16:04.49)
huh.
Jamie (16:09.376)
Mm-hmm.
Dayle Sheehan (16:14.656)
a lot more familiar with it lately and started using it. Our VA uses it and constantly and she like loves it and recommended that we get it. But lately I've been in there a lot more and it is brilliant. And if you are somebody that does any social media or your own social media and manages like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest,
your meta ads accounts, things like that. Like just all the places that feel so overwhelming, it brings them all into one place so that A, you can manage it all from one place, do all your posts from one place and then spit it out to the world at the same time. But it also, it also, if you do have people helping you with that, you just have to give them access to that versus give them access to your Instagram, your Facebook.
Jamie (17:09.675)
you
Dayle Sheehan (17:11.15)
You're not sharing logins. So to me that was the invaluable reason to like get organized with it Absolutely
Jamie (17:14.27)
Yeah!
Jamie (17:18.527)
Because that's the scariest thing, to give somebody else your login because you don't want to do your own social media posts or you don't want to do your own meta ads. But you also don't want to share with someone you don't know yet. You know, like, it's so tough. Okay, amazing.
Dayle Sheehan (17:25.791)
Exactly.
Dayle Sheehan (17:30.178)
know all that stuff exactly so yeah so metra cool it's called and I cannot recommend it enough and those are kind of the things that I'm like loving right now that have made my life better
Jamie (17:42.623)
Me too. I like all those. They're really good.
Dayle Sheehan (17:46.636)
Yeah, me too. We'd love to hear what you guys are loving and what your favorites are because as you can tell, I watch trash TV when I do my workouts and I'm very easily influenced. So I'm looking for all the ideas of things to buy.
Jamie (17:58.836)
I'd say.
Okay, until next time guys, see you later.
Dayle Sheehan (18:05.134)
Bye bye.
